1. About us
This website is operated by Stroke Play Golf. Stroke Play Golf Foundation is being established as a Foundation CIO in England. Until registration is complete, we do not describe the organisation as a registered charity. Contact: andrew@strokeplaygolf.org | 07775 989882.
2. Using this website
By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and not to damage the website, interfere with its operation, infringe another person's rights, or attempt unauthorised access to systems or information.
3. Website information
We aim to keep information accurate and up to date, but event details, venues, times, availability and programme content may change. Website content is general information and is not medical, clinical, rehabilitation, legal or other professional advice.
4. Rehabilitation positioning
Stroke Play Golf supports people through accessible golf, participation, confidence and social connection. It does not provide medical treatment, clinical rehabilitation, diagnosis or individual medical advice. Anyone unsure whether an activity is appropriate for them should seek appropriate professional advice.
5. Events and registrations
Submitting an enquiry or registration does not guarantee a place unless Stroke Play Golf confirms it. Events may be changed, postponed or cancelled because of weather, venue availability, safety, staffing or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Separate Event Participation Terms apply.
6. Sponsors and partners
References to sponsorship, funding, partnership or support do not create a contractual partnership, agency, endorsement or other legal relationship unless expressly agreed in writing.
7. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the Stroke Play Golf name, logo, branding, website copy, graphics and original materials are owned by or licensed to Stroke Play Golf. They may not be reproduced, adapted or used commercially without prior written permission. Sharing public links and social-media posts is welcome.
8. Third-party websites
We may link to golf clubs, venues, social networks and other third parties. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, privacy practices or services.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to applicable law, Stroke Play Golf is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for loss arising solely from reliance on general website information.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version will be published on the website with its last-updated date.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rights under applicable law.
